I have upgraded my studio to SONAR, Cakewalk's audio/midi recording software. I had been using Cakewalk's older version PRO AUDIO 8 for years. It always seemed adaquate for me. But recently I started having problems with it, and was dissatified with it's performance, so I decided it was time.
My new Sonar is actually a lesser version of the current pro version, but it contains all my old version had and more. Besides the usual learning curve, it is turning out to be a wise decision on my part. So, now I think I'm wise ?? HARDLY... because actually, the software is similar enough to make the transition tolerable.
I have put a couple of samples of it's superior sound on my free mp3s page. Soon I will have many new tunes to share and give away, for free music is an eagle that flys unencumbered high in the sky.
